Let's swing in to action. Let's contribute our bit to the nation. Let's contribute ideas, plans and proposals to combat terrorism. Let's make India a safe place to live. Let's make the world safe place to be in.

@Mahesh:

Me and my friend had a interesting discussion about you and your posts on you blog website. He says that you are a front for Islam and mask your self has a liberal Hindu.

But I did not agree with him, I think that you have a higher intellectual capacity to see through things differently.

Guruvugaru, I have a suggestion. If it is true that a person can be saved by removing body part infected by CANCER; it may also be true to atleast partially get rid of terrorism in India by cutting off infected Kashmir. Spending thousands of crores of money on securing kashmir and still paying penalty in these terror attacks is not helping India & Indians anyways (well ...i am not at all referring to our politicians & bureaucrats). Think about it.

Anonymous said...

@Samanyudu: Very well written and well said. Your analogy has one flaw.

Ok. As you said get rid of the part that has cancer. Tomorrow you may develop the same cancer or a deadlier cancer to one of your other body part, lets get rid of that also. Day-after-tomorrow the same cancer may effect your Brain (a body party), then we have to remove your brain also. And so on ... Finally your body has no useful parts. Note: The usage "you" means here our country, India.

One must cure the cancer, but not cut off the parts one after another.

The important point is that the example you have given can not be applied to a country.

Political Science deines that a state (country) consists of Sovereignty, People, Land and Constitution. Even one of the above elements is missing then that country (state) can not survive.

It is not a childs play to give some part (of the country) to who ever demands it. If you give J&K to Muslims, then Christians are demanding North-Eastern States, and Bangladesh wants West Bengal, Tamils wants Tamil Land, and others want their own mother land.

Islamic Terrorism was not created beacuse of economic backwardness (e.g. Naxalism). This sprang from their pathological hatred towards Kafirs. We must cure the root casue, but not the symptoms. And in this case it is supported and trained by Pakisthan.

So the solution is to fight the enemy and defeat them. Else they will conquor you and enslave you or you will be one of them un-intensionally.

hmmmmmm .... thoughtful response.

What i mentioned as an example is more an anology, as you rightly mentioned. Using the same anology, one white blood cell does not encourage an other blood cell to stop fighting back an infection and/or help spreading the infection from back door. Unfortulately, some of our politicians & bureaucrats are of similar nature.

Well, bottom line, what i strongly believe as one of the best possible solution is to make all security (both internal & external, eg; Police, CBI, NSG, ATS, Military etc.) verticals should be made independent organizations with no dependincy (rather, at mercy :-) ) &control of ruling government. I think this would give lot more independence, strategic position & strength to these verticals / agencies to protect our country much much better.

@Samanyudu: Again very well written. But there is one fundamental flaw in your solution.

You writes ....
"Well, bottom line, what i strongly believe as one of the best possible solution is to make all security (both internal & external, eg; Police, CBI, NSG, ATS, Military etc.) verticals should be made independent organizations with no dependincy (rather, at mercy :-) ) &control of ruling government. I think this would give lot more independence, strategic position & strength to these verticals / agencies to protect our country much much better."

Your solution ignores (or violates) one of the fundamental principle of Democratic Government, i.e. "Checks and Balances" between Executive, Judiciary and Legislature branches.

As soon as we remove those "checks and Blanaces" between various agencies, then the country disintegrates or power struggle between those agencies keeps it unstable.

The best example is Pakistan, where Militeray, ISI and Mullas compete for power, so that country is unstable ever since.

The 'cancer' you are talking about is NOT just for India but for the whole world.

Infact the humanity is suffering with that totalitarian ideological cancer since 7th century.

It is disguised with something that we consider as sacred, so it is NOT easy to see its true colour.

Unless the whole world awaken to it soon, and take appropriate action at the root level, we all will be succumbed to it too.

Anonymous - i was on business travel and hence delayed response. I agree with your point on fundamental democracy ...etc. But, if those intellectuals think about a possible and better solution, i don't think it's difficult make such police and security agencies. Please note, policies are made to break..and every 'way of doing a thing' has both pro's and con's and the right people can weigh them right and make things happen. Incorporating those checks & balances, procedures & controls is not a big deal; example police in USA.
